4th of July Kites

This cute kite craft will help you celebrate the holiday in style.
Supplies:
Red, white, and blue scrapbook paper
3 wooden dowels, 1 large, 1 medium, 1 small (can paint red, white, and blue)
Twine
Scissors
Hot glue gun or tape
Instructions:
Cut notches into ends of the dowels.
Place the medium-sized wooden dowel on top of the larger one to form a âtâ and tie together using twine.
Thread twine through all notches to create a diamond outline.
Cut the scrapbook paper into a diamond shape slightly larger than the twine frame.
Fold the scrapbook paper over the twine frame and secure with glue or tape.
Tie a long piece twine to the center of the kite (make as long as desired).
Add the smallest dowel by tying it to the bottom of the long twine to use as a handle (optional).
