Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer, and that means it’s time for BBQ! We’re grilling up some delicious chicken, veggies, and even fruit on kebab skewers. The secret is our apple juice marinade!
The night before, prepare the marinade by combining juice, honey, oil, soy sauce, and lemon juice
Prep chicken by slicing into 1” cubes. Place in a large sealable bag along with half the marinade. Refrigerate overnight
Slice vegetables to lengths no greater than 1”. Place in a different bag with the remaining marinade
The day of, preheat the grill to medium high, lightly grease the grill gate, and soak the kebab sticks in water for at least 10 minutes prior to grilling
Slice fruit into 1” cubes
Stack veggies, chicken, and fruit on skewers, alternating between. Baste the kebabs with a few tablespoons of oil
Place the kebabs on the grill for 10 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking
